modding your own application

This tutorial is meant for modding newbies who have no experience in modding.

Without wasting time, lets go down to the post.

1.To start, you must have the following applications to start the modding:

* 2go v3.zip (that's 2go in zip
format)

2. Class translator.

3. Mini halo.

4. Blue FTP

For your easy access, I have compressed all of them into single zip file. You can download it by clicking HERE

Class translator and blue
ftp is our first port of call, so lets start.

STEP 1
Create a new folder and rename it anything
you wish e.g (modding_2go)

STEP 2
Open Blue FTP, locate the 2go.zip, open it,
press 'Menu' then scroll
down, choose 'Select All'.

STEP 3
Now press 'Menu'
again, select 'Extract
selected Items', go back open ur modding_2go folder then press
'Menu' and choose 'Extract
Items Here'. Then wait for
all the files to be extracted
keep on pressing yes till it
say extracting
complete.

Then exit
blueftp.

Now, Open Class
Translator and locate the
modding_2go folder and edit
following files to your taste and press options,
then Save and close.

You'll see list of .class file, you
dont need to edit all or you would get application error. Just locate the following and edit:
'2go'&'(c)2go Interactive
at Start Page=>al.class
Changing Welcome Notes
=>ap.class
Changing Error
Statements (Cannot
connect to 2go Servers.....)
=>au.class
Changing 2go Login
Page=>az.class
Changing
words like 'Logging
In','Reconnecting','Star
2go','2go News'=>t.class,
Twogo.class

You can also
check this
classes=>bb.class,c.class  and edit them
to your taste. After editing,
save it, then close your class
translator and open up your
mini halo, then locate the
modding_2go folder you earlier created. Don't open it yet,
just click option and
select compress and keep
on pressing yes till it says
compressing complete.It will be saved as
modding_2go.zip. Then,
close your mini halo and
open your blue ftp and
locate the
modding_2go.zip then
click menu and go to
rename and change
modding_2go.zip to your
name e.g 2gov3 mod by
Cyberghost bla bla bla_jar then click Ok.
Quit the blue ftp and
navigate to your phone or
memory card and locate
the 2gov3 mod by
Cyberghost bla bla bla_jar and click
rename and change the
_jar to .jar

That's it! You rock!
